I can't believe it's been more than a year now since I first posted Charice Pempengco's video here in this blog. Let me quote few words that I wrote back then...
She is now a certified international star! Yes, one year after her first guesting in Oprah, Charice guested back to launch her first international single entitled "Note to God". The song was written by Grammy award winner Diane Warren and produced by the legendary David Foster. Diane said in Oprah that the song was written but was just waiting for the perfect voice for the song and when she heard Charice's voice she thought Note to God would be perfect for her.
David Foster said Charice reminds him of Celine Dion when he saw her at 18 and she really sings beautifully. It really shows. Look at Charice now. With David Foster on her side there's no other way for her but up!
But then again with all these attention and fame she's enjoying Oprah reminds her to keep her feet on the ground even if she is wearing a better shoes.
Kudos Charice! Two thumbs up!
Charice Pempengco, 15 years of age now, started singing at 4. Joined a lot of singing contest on television, and now? amazingly singing in front of International television, with a skyrocketing career. WOW! she really got an amazing voice and amazing confidence! A talent that can make me a proud Filipino. Who knows where and what this little star could be in the future. One thing's for sure, she's blessed with a great voice that for sure will bring her to stardom!Stardom indeed!
